Argosy University – Hawaii – For Professionals and Graduates
Argosy University was founded in 2001 with the consolidation of several schools. The American School of Professional Psychology, the University of Sarasota and the Medical Institute of Minnesota merged to become Argosy University. The mingling of these medical and business schools makes for an incredible opportunity for incoming students who know what direction they want to travel but also know that they want to explore the road to their future. Argosy University-Hawaii is part of the University system.
University has four colleges-the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, and College of Health Sciences. There are nineteen locations across the United States that serve Argosy students. There are campuses in Atlanta-Georgia, Chicago-Illinois, Dallas, Denver, various islands in Hawaii Los Angeles-California, Nashville-Tennessee, Orange County-California, Phoenix-Arizona, Salt Lake City-Utah, San Francisco-California, San Diego-California, Sarasota-Florida, Schaumburg, Seattle, Tampa-Florida, Inland Empire, Twin Cities and Washington, D. C. Online courses are also available to suit students who are interested in all that Argosy University has to offer.
Students at Argosy University-Hawaii can pursue degrees in Psychology, Counselor Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, Education, Business, Criminal Justice, and Liberal Arts. The University offers a number of opportunities, providing courses and internships so that students can pursue a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, doctoral degree or other professional certification.
University-Hawaii has recently announced a new program that students can pursue. The Doctor of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision program is now open for students seeking graduate level degrees in this field. Students in this program will prepare to enter the world of academics, research and clinical studies in Counselor Education.
The main Argosy campus in Hawaii is located on the island of Oahu but also has satellite campuses on Hilo and Maui. Services are limited at satellite locations. The student body at Argosy University-Hawaii consists of students who are pursuing graduate level degrees as recent college graduates. There is also a large number of professionals who wish to further their education and place in the business world.
